Hi Kim! I know I struggled with moving them because I liked to refrence them there too.. but it just became to huge and messy.

I am still looking for a way to get the auto update of the most current blog post to work in the new set up. I miss that feature the most!!

I never really used my Google Reader before, but I find it works well. Just subscribe to their RSS feed from each blog and then you will get a nice list of all the blogs and their updates as they happen.

Oh and thanks for the comment, I appreciate hearing from everyone!

I live in Tucson, AZ and I did not find any coupon inserts in Arizona Republic or Arizona Daily Star. I wanted to know if anybody else had the same problem. I went to 3 stores and none of them had the coupon inserts.

I did get the SmartSource inserts in my home delivery papers. I have heard that sometimes the coupon inserts are not available in the stores.

I’m in Sierra Vista and found no inserts in the Republic. However, the Star did have one Smart Source insert. Luckily, a nice cashier allowed me to exchange my papers. Sorry you didn’t have any luck.

I live in Oro Valley and frequently do not get the inserts. Does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to them, though.

If the papers are delivered than you should definitely complain to the paper. If you are buying them at the newstand than you should check them before you buy!

Hello! I live in Kingman AZ and I often find the inserts in the Kingman Daily Miner down here, but you might call them and find out what other papers do the inserts.

Hello I’m a new couponer mom,and I need all the help I cant get.I can’t find any coupons for diapers for my son I don’t care about the brand.I also was wondering what stores double coupons? Hi Denise,
You definitely want to sign up with the diaper websites. They often have printable coupons available. And both huggies and pampers put coupons out in the sunday paper periodically.
Walgreens has their brand of diapers on sale for B1G1 50% off this week if you need diapers right away.

If you are in Tucson than our double coupn stores are Safeway and Bashas. but Diaper coupons are usually $1+ so those coupons won’t double. A few of the Walmarts in Tucson are doubling coupons as a part of a pilot program right now too.

If you click the STORES tab at the top of the blog you can read about each store and their coupon policies.
I hope that helps!

I find it a bit odd and VERY annoying as to why Phoenix, AZ does not get coupons in the ads to our house in the Red Plum.

Wow, yall aren’t getting your coupon inserts! We’re in Maricopa (Pinal), and we ALWAYS have all the inserts in the AZ Rep. Sometimes, we even get both SS1 and SS2 or whatever. The only thing I can think is that maybe, MAYBE the paper considers your hometown outside its ‘local” area, and thus doesn’t include any inserts at all. I seem to recall a conversation like that among some folks who lived way out in the country in those square middle states, but were getting the paper from a large city a few hundred miles away. Or, like, if you order the Los Angeles or New York paper… You won’t get any coupons.

Still, doesn’t seem right, though, what with the AZ Republic being THE paper, and you all not being all THAT far away, even in Kingman or Tucson. Has anyone called the paper and asked what’s up?

Hello everyone,

We are new to the area of Chandler, and my husband and I want to start couponing. We were watching extreme couponing on netflix and we are trying to figure out the process, any of you guys do it? It would be nice to get some help. Thanks!

hey ladies… i have lived in oro valley for a little over two years now and i can tell you (via extensive research) that only the AZ republic carries all of the inserts. our local tucson daily star does not carry the redplum at all. while the AZ republic is available here in tucson, it is not easy to find sadly. they are often sold out. a really good and super cheap alternative up here in oro valley, is the NW explorer, which is actually delivered free to every household driveway, usually midweek. their schedule is funny… they carry the red plum in advance but the SS’s midweek following the sunday paper. anyways, hope that helps you ladies who are hoping to figure out the papers here in tucson! have a great day :)

Hi Heidi,

Thanks for commenting. It is so disappointing that the Tucson paper stopped carrying the redplum Some people also have success getting a copy in their mail box, I have not though. The NW explorer is a great option for at least some version of the red plum, but they are very peculiar about where they deliver even if you are in the area and request it. They used to deliver all the time to my neighborhood, but no longer.. even after requesting. You can also pick up copies at the library and a select few other locations on the Northwest side though!

If you’re looking for to save money on groceries or other consumer goods in the Phoenix area, I highly recommend tuning in to ABC15′s “Smart Shopper” segment. If you print out one of the Smart Shopper Savings Club cards on their website, you’ll save money on whatever the weekly discount is! Here’s the link: http://bit.ly/1630UR1
