Extreme Pumpkin Carving – Foothills Mall – Friday & Saturday, October 26 & 27

Halloween Dance Party Boo Fest – Tucson Mall Center Court – Saturday, October 27th 10-12pm

  • Dance Party with prizes, face painting, costume contest, crafts and trick or treating.

Bookman Events

Halloween Party and Magic Show – Bookmans Ina – Saturday, October 27 1pm

  • Dress up in costume for pictures. Includes cookie decorating, snacks, crafts and more. The magic show starts at 3pm.

Kids Costume Pageant – Bookmans Speedway – Saturday, October 27th all day

  • Kids Costume Pageant and Trick or Treat Ghost Hunt. Prizes given to all participants.

Halloween Story Time – Bookmans Grant – Thursday, October 25th 10-11am

Young Frankenstein – Bookmans Grant Parking Lot – Saturday, October 27th 5:30-8pm

  • First come first served, bring your own chairs. Movie starts promptly at 6pm. Trivia about comedian Gene Wilder with monster prizes.

Northwest YMCA Trunk or Treat 2010 – Saturday, October 27th from 5:30-8pm.

  • The event is held in the Northwest Pima Community College Parking lot
  • Trunk or Treating, games, costume parade & contest (register before 6pm), crafts, movie (6:30), jumping castle!
  • Free shuttle from MVD parking lot (I recommend using it, this event is very popular).

Marana Pumpkin Patch & Farm Festival – Thursday-Monday through 10/31 3-7pm (weekdays), 9-7pm (weekends)

  • $10 Admission includes 1 orange pumpkin, $7 without a pumpkin. Additional Pumpkins $5 (orange), $10 (other colors).
  • Included in admission cost: Trailer ride to pumpkin patch, petting zoo, pig races, straw mountain,  sand box and corn mazes.  Train rides $1 and $2, Pedal Cars $1, Jumping Pillow $2, Zip Line $5. Food available for purchase.

Halloween Howl 2011 – Colossal Cave – Friday & Saturday October 19 & 20 and Friday – Sunday, 26-28 5:00-9:00 p.m

  • Candlelight Tours, Haunted Hayrides, Halloween Carnival.
  • $1 park admission per car (or can of food). $7 per person per tour or hayride, kids 3 and under free.

Not So Spooky Halloween – Tucson Children’s Museum – Saturday, October 27th 1-4pm

  • Games, Crafts, Science Experiments, Trick or Treating, Costume Contest.
  • Free with regular admission: Adults $8 & Kids 2-18 $6

Buckelew Farm Pumpkin Festival & Corn Maze – Last 4 Weekends in October 10am-5pm

  • $4 admission includes tractor ride to pumpkin patch (kids in diapers are free). Pumpkins are $0.50/lb. Corn maze admission: additional $8 for adults and $6 for kids (6-12). Jumping Castle, Arts & Crafts Tent, Pedal Cart Race Track and Petting Zoo also available (unsure about pricing). Food available for purchase.
  • Nighttime corn maze $13 per person, Haunted corn maze $20 per person.

Fall Festival at Agua Linda Farms – Weekends in October, Saturdays 10-9pm and Sundays and Columbus Day (10/8) 10-5pm.

  • $5 Admission (kids in diapers are free) includes: Hayrides, petting zoo, bounce house, kids friendly maze, 3 acre family maze, hay stack climbing, john deer tyke track, family friendly movie on Friday and Saturday nights.
  • Additional costs for pumpkin picking, pony rides ($5), farm store, food and treats for purchase. No outside food allowed.

Fall Pumpkin Celebration at Apple Annie’s – Weekends in October 8:30-5:30pm.

  • $3 Admission (kids 2 and under free) includes hayride to pumpkin patch and kids area.  15 acre Corn Maze (3 levels of difficulty) admission is $7 (adults), $5 (kids 3-11). Combo hayride/corn maze tickets $9 (adults) and $7 (kids 3-11).

Sam & Latch’s Hairy Halloween Show at Trail Dust Town – Nightly in October at 7 and 8pm, Additional 9pm show on Friday and Saturdays.

  • Admission $4 (adults) and $2 (3-12). Kids 3 and under are free but not recommended.

HalloWEEN 2012 at the Mini Time Machine Museum – Saturdays in October

  • Regular admission rates apply $9 (adults) and $6 (kids 4-17).
  • Museum is decorated all month. Saturdays feature flashlight tours in the dark (at 4pm) and Halloween themed Kids Create projects 1-4pm.

The Haunted Ruins Halloween Show at Valley of the Moon – October 12-14, 19-21 and 26-30 at 6:30-9pm.

  • Come take a trip through a land of magic as Valley of the Moon presents its 89th year of Halloween fun.
  • Admission $8 (adults), $5 (kids 8-13), kids 7 and under are free. Tours leave every 30 minutes. October 12th is food bank night, save 50% off admission with 2 cans of food.

  2. Arizona Hops & Vines (azhopsandvines.com), a winery down in Sonoita, is having a Halloween event (“Hallowine”) down in Sonoita, with a multi-building haunted house, petting zoo, and a lot of wine & beer for the adults.
