Woo Hoo. I was super excited to find this Disneyland Backstage Pass Express newsletter in my mailbox yesterday.
Disneyland mailings are always fun to receive. They me of upcoming trips!! <—And we usually have a trip on the horizon!
They have fun information about upcoming events and current promotions in the park!!
Unfortunately I opened it up and realized we planned our trip 1 week too early. Disneyland’s Halloween Time starts the day we leave.
Seriously our trip is 1 week too early.
So sad.
For a few minutes.
Then it passed.
Because I remembered our trip is only 2 weeks away!

We Love Disney! Our daughter earned a FREE day to Disney for selling 800 boxes of girlscout cookies this past year. The trip was in June, soooo my mom, my sister, my daughter and I made it a girls weekend trip! So much fun! Love Disneyland at Christmas time…that’s my favorite time to go. Would love to see it for Halloween too.
Wow 800 boxes of cookies!! She did a GREAT job selling!! And now I am craving some yummy dosie does ( or however the heck you spell those)!
A girls weekend trip sounds fun!! Not going to happen with for me unless I drag my girl friends and leave al the boys at home!
We love Disneyland all year long but the holidays do make it extra special. It makes me want to start scrimping, scheming and planning for another trip before our current one has even arrived.

Hi Becky! That particular mailing is sent because we are Annual Pass Holders. We also get some from our Disney Visa Card. And even random ones from Disney Vacation Planning. Signing up for information from Disneyland or the Disney Resorts would be one way to start getting some mailings. It is a good idea to be on their mailing list if you are interested in staying on site because they sometimes mail out hotel discount rates….

It’s too bad that you’ll miss Halloween Time; we were there for the kick off last year and it was awesome. That said, it’s hard to stay sad too long, since any trip to Disney is better than no trip at all. Have a great time! And, I bet they’ll have lots of decor up early so you won’t totally miss out.
PS. Have you heard that the Disney Moms Panel is expanding to include Disneyland moms this year? Applications are being accepted starting Sept. 12th. There is definitely some stiff competition out there, but it sounds like you might be a perfect fit!
